Our Team

Immune Foundry Labs was founded by two chemical engineers with deep expertise in biomaterials, drug delivery, and immunoengineering. Our founders are active faculty members at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where their academic research forms the scientific foundation of the company.

Co-Founder & CEO Prof. Eric Bachelder, Division of Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics of Eshelman School of Pharmacy, UNC Chapel Hill. Expert in biomaterial design and immune engineering with a research program focused on immune tolerance and vaccine development

Co-Founder & Co-CEO  Prof. Kristy Ainslie Eshelman Distinguished Professor; Director of Emerging Educational Programs in the Pharmaceutical Sciences; Professor, Department of Microbiology and Immunology; Professor, Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, UNC Chapel Hill. Expert in pharmacoengineering, biomaterial development, and vaccine adjuvant research.
